How Should I Prepare My Home Before I List It?

Often times, I will get a call from someone who wants to sell right now, however the important thing to remember is first impressions always count & buyers pay attention to the details.

Here are a few tips to help make your home stand out & get top dollar!

Make it inviting, what does that mean you say? Fix anything that is in need of a repair (weather stripping, put that railing back up), patch and paint the walls, give every room a clear purpose, check light bulbs and replace as needed.

Second, boost the curb appeal. A few tips would be power washing the outdoor surfaces, wash the windows inside and out, freshen up the entry with new decor.
